Topics include signs of labor\, stages and phases of birth\, comfort and pain relief options\, common medical procedures and interventions\, cesarean birth basics\, and what to expect immediately after delivery. \nDesigned for families who want quality childbirth education in a shorter format\, this class focuses on essential information and discussion without the hands-on comfort measure practice and activities included in our longer childbirth education classes. \nThe scheduled instructional portion of the class is approximately 2.5 hours. At the conclusion of the presentation\, additional time is reserved for questions and discussion\, allowing participants the opportunity to receive individualized support and clarification.
